How to use seeds in daily diet?



Sow a 'seed' of good eating habits today !! 🍏🍎

🍇1. Sunflower seeds: They are rich sources of vitamin E which are essential to the body to fight cancer. They improve the immunity. Reduce the oxidative stress caused due to working out.

🍅2. Chia Seeds: They are rich in carbohydrates and fiber, helping the body control blood sugar level. Helps also in reaching the satisfaction point after a meal, in turn controlling digestion. A good source of plant protein and Omega-3 fatty acids. They contain antioxidants.

🍋3. Sesame seeds: A great source of calcium. Hence help in making the bones strong. They are also required for the muscles to function properly. They produce energy for the body to work on.

🐢4. Pumpkin seeds: Pumpkin seeds contain good amount of Magnesium, Zinc and plant based Omega-3 fatty acids. Pumpkin seeds also help in protecting against type 2 Diabetes and are good for heart, liver health and also prevents insomnia.

🐝5. Flax seeds: Flax seeds are rich sources of fibre. They contain a lot of soluble fibres, which help in digestion. They control hunger and blood sugar level. Daily consumption of flax seeds keeps a check on the blood pressure level, which in turn reduces the risk of suffering from cardiovascular diseases. Due to the presence of lignan, flax seeds promote smooth blood flow.

🐠6. Hemp seeds: Hemp seeds are whole proteins. Hemp seeds help to keep your hair and skin healthy. This is due to the presence of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. They also help to lower the cholesterol level, due to the presence of phytosterols.

Invest in a small grinder or use your mixer and add 2 tbsp flax seeds , 1 tsp of sesame seeds and 1 tbsp of pumpkin seeds..grind it together into a fine powder and add this to your bowl of fruits or oats or your vegetable juice for more fibre, excellent protein and omega 3 and other super healthy trace minerals

Since protein has a high thermic effect your body will have to burn more fats to digest these. Seeds like sunflower seeds and flax seed also help in lifting your metabolism.
